Josh is an emerging production designer with a diverse portfolio spanning theatre, movement-based works, and interdisciplinary art.

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), his design credits include Carrie: The Musical (dir. Tyler Jacob Jones), Head Over Heels (dir. Melanie Hillman), A Life of Galileo (dir. Michael McCall), and The Night Ain’t Filled with Gentle Things (choreographed by Sam Coren). Most recently, he designed The Belly, a new work directed by Jeffrey Jay Fowler.

In addition to his creative practice, Josh has facilitated design workshops with WAAPA and The Smith Family, and served as a member of the ACT’s Performance Advisory Group.

Josh is particularly interested in the intersection of technology and traditional design practices, exploring how these elements can combine to create innovative, immersive spaces for storytelling.
